Charging everyday items of mobile electronica typically means locating multiple chargers – often with different connections – and negotiating a mess of cables. It’s a scene the Powerdock intends to overcome by allowing you to charge four different devices simultaneously from a single mains-connected unit. The standard Powerdock comes with three interchangeable charging ‘slices’, each supporting a different connector – USB, mini USB and iPod/iPhone.
Ten other charging slices are available (ie: connections for phones by Samsung, LG, Motorola, Sony Ericson, games units such as Sony PSP and Nintendo-DS) for $15 each. The Powerdock itself costs $79.95.
