Angry Birds calms users, syncs progress across platforms

So you have an Android smartphone for work and an iPad at home, and occasionally the kids let you use the big tablet to play some games on. Wouldn’t it be awesome if that long running Angry Birds game would be the same across both devices?

The developers of what has to be one of the biggest casual games ever has finally linked up games between iOS and Android with a Rovio account, making it possible to play the same game on two devices, or three or four or five.

Currently, the synchronisation only works on the original Angry Birds and the movie tie-in title “The Croods,” but Rovio is planning on adding support for other Angry Birds titles later on.
