    Samsung UA55C9000 3D LCD TV

At $10,000, the Samsung UA55C9000 costs more than twice what an otherwise similarly specified, similarly sized, Samsung TV would sell for. So what’s so special about it? We reckon that several of the more extraordinary features justify that price.

Toshiba release 4 new LCD TVs - the REGZA AV500 series

product

Toshiba is enhancing Australia's television viewing experience with the introduction of the REGZA AV500 series, which includes four new LCD TVs. Providing high-end digital performance, these competitively priced models are a must-have addition to any digital living room.

The stylish AV500 range features true-to-life picture quality thanks to Toshiba's "Meta Brain Pro" technology which produces more realistic, smoother and clearer pictures. The high-quality AV500 series gives High Definition¹ (HD) with an integrated tuner, which is ideal for watching Australia's latest digitally broadcast channels.

Expanding on Toshiba's REGZA television range, these new LCD televisions incorporate a host of innovative technologies that make images appear more natural and life-like. These include DynaLight, Toshiba's dynamic backlighting function, which improves the black levels in dark scenes, and Cinespeed which, with increased LCD response times, decreases blurriness and delivers cleaner, high-action home theatre pictures.

The AV500 series consists of a 26", 32", 37" and 42" screen option, with a range of inputs including two HDMI, two composite connections, component video, S-video, as well as a PC input for consumers to use the TV as a monitor.

Availability

The Toshiba REGZA LCD range is available from Harvey Norman, Clive Peeters, Myer, Bing Lee and speciality Hi-Fi stores.
