If you want a top of the range camcorder that has the ease of use of DVD recording, but don't necessarily want to get into heavy editing sessions, then the DZ-GX20E is going to be just the ticket.

It has a very respectable 2.1 megapixel CCD giving great picture quality, crispness and colour saturation plus a built in flash and support light complementing the photo capability (via an SD card). The 10x optical zoom is more than adequate for most purposes and the 16:9 wide mode recording takes advantage of that new plasma or LCD TV you might have. A standout is the free 1 hour on-site software installation and support option.
