Gadget Guy Review

With a frequency range of 8 to 35,000Hz, impedance of 40 Ohm and sound pressure level of 94dB, the Ultrasone PROline 2500s are made for the studio. These feature titanium-plated 40 mm drivers and use Ultrasone?s proprietary technologies including S-Logic Natural Surround Sound and MU Metal shielding. The former provides a three dimensional listening experience, without the addition of surround sound equipment. The MU shielding is designed to protect those who spend much of their time in headphones by blocking 98 percent of low frequency magnetic fields.

The Proline 2500s are open-backed by design and have large, rotatable earcups. These fit around the ears, rather than on them, and there is plenty of cushioning - as well as on the sturdy headband. Included in the package is a transport back, two speed-switch earpads, gold plated connectors for 3.5 mm and 6.5 mm jacks. Two three-metre detachable audio cables are also provided ? one coiled and one straight.
