Samsung's festive season hourly prize giveaway

Samsung offers the chance to win digital cameras, camcorders, MP3 players and DVD players every hour of the day.

Consumers that purchase selected Samsung digital camera, camcorder, MP3 player or DVD players in the lead up to Christmas will go into the hourly draw to win one of 1488 Samsung products, in a unique festive promotion that gives customers even more chance to win.

With over $380,000 in prizes to be won, this one of a kind promotion launches on 1 November 2008 and continues through to 2 January 2009 at retail outlets nationally. Purchasers of participating Samsung products will go into the hourly prize draw to win one of 24 Samsung products drawn each day. The hourly prize could be a Samsung Digital Camera, Camcorder, MP3 player, Blu-ray player or even a Samsung 32 inch HD ready Samsung LCD TV.

"Cameras, camcorders, MP3 players and DVD players will rank highly on many Christmas wish lists and we want to give customers the chance to win a product they can choose to keep for themselves or even wrap up to go under the tree," said Sagar Dave, Marketing Manager, AV Division - Samsung Electronics.

"This is a unique promotion for our customers. With 24 Samsung products being given away every day we are increasing the opportunity to win. We're as excited as our retailers and customers about this promotion," continued Dave.
