Gadget Guy Review

Think of the Ultimate 9502 as a hiptop for grown-ups. This souped-up smartphone ticks just about every box for the mobile professional and in some instances could replace a laptop. The large 2.8 inch touchscreen slides up to reveal a compact yet comfortable QWERTY keypad, with a camera for video calls on the front and a generous three megapixel camera on the rear. Along with high-speed downloads and streaming video over the Next G network, the phone can also hook into wireless networks.

It uses a mobile version of Windows which provides a familiar interface plus cut-down versions of Word, Outlook, Excel and even PowerPoint. This last one is especially handy because the Ultimate 9502 can connect to a TV or projector, letting you run a big-screen presentation straight from the phone. There's even an inbuilt GPS receiver to help find your way from one meeting to the next. Should the phone be lost or stolen, a special website lets you lock the phone or even wipe its contents to protect your data.
