David Jones is launching a premium technology range

From Thursday November 9th, David Jones will be launching a new technology range delivering a ‘technology as a lifestyle’ experience for its customers.

Instead of a broad catalogue like other electronics retailers, David Jones’s range will be carefully ‘curated’ to deliver “…the world’s leading and most innovative technology and audiovisual brands and products” to its discerning customers.

The new technology ‘departments’ will focus on audio and visual products, along with smart connected devices such as Google’s Home and Google Mini. Featured brands will include Bang & Olufsen, Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Audiopro, Naim and Devialet.

On the personal technology front, there will be a premium selection of phones, accessories, smart watches, headphones and tablets from global brands including Apple, Samsung, Native Union, Knomo of London, Sennheiser and Master & Dynamic.

The exquisite Master & Dynamic MA770, which is made of concrete, is something you can expect to buy from David Jones’s collection.

Customers will be able to experience David Jones’s technology range in new and modern ‘concept’ rooms to learn how connected home devices interface with lighting, multi-rooom wireless speakers and TVs, as well as dedicated auditioning spaces for evaluating hi-fidelity audio and surround sound.

David Jones will have a team of technology specialists on hand across its stores to help customers with questions about product features as well as creating bespoke solutions for their homes.

An at home installation and after sales service will be available to ensure that products are properly installed and working in customers homes.

David Jones Technology will be available nationwide in eight key stores across Australia – Market Street, Sydney; Bondi Junction, Sydney; Chatswood, Sydney; Bourke Street, Melbourne; Chadstone, Melbourne; Queensplaza, Brisbane; Adelaide Central Plaza, Adelaide; Hay Street, Perth – and from its online store.
