The smart cleaner market seems to be hotting up with Evovacs robotics launching two hard floor cleaners at last week’s Berlin IFA consumer electronics show. It’s not just Berlin. The brand will be landing in Australia in the near future.
Says Damian Commane, Country Manager for Ecovacs Australia and New Zealand, “IFA is a very exciting time for us, and the timing could not be better to be showcasing products such as the DEEBOT OZMO 610 and DEEBOT OZMO 930. With the launch of the Ecovacs Robotics brand imminent for the Australian market, this is a great way to introduce products that we anticipate will be available as well as get first-hand experience of reactions from the public.”
The DEEBOT OZMO 610 and 930 provide sweeping and mopping for hard floor surfaces with, says Ecovacs, equal facility on parquet, laminate and tiled surfaces. They sport “extra-large, electronically controlled water tanks that moisten a washable cloth during the cleaning process.” The flow can be adjusted using an app.
The DEEBOT OZMO 930 adds the ability to recognise different floor coverings. It adjusts cleaning mode automatically, switching to vacuum mode for carpeted areas. The DEEBOT OZMO 930 is Google Home enabled, allowing it to be integrated with a host of other smart home features.
Australian pricing is yet to be determined.
