Nintendo 3DS likely to launch by early next year

Nintendo's push into the third dimension with the Nintendo 3DS looks set to happen before Winter 2011 with a comment made by one of the heads of the company.
The president of Nintendo America has this week said "The one thing, for sure, is that we launch in all of our major markets by March 31, 2011."
We've gone to Nintendo Australia to find out whether we count as one of Nintendo's major markets, but with more Australians picking up consoles like the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii en masse, we can only hope we are.
UPDATE: Nintendo Australia has confirmed that the Nintendo 3DS is "planned to launch in 2011" but could not confirm a month for Australia and New Zealand.
