Optus to sell Garmin-Asus navigation smartphone

GPS on the phone just got a whole lot better in Australia with Optus announcing the release of the first joint Garmin-Asus smartphone to Australians looking to get around with ease.

Combining an Android handset with a high quality GPS, the Garmin-Asus A10 offers users a premium navigation experience while not compromising on phone quality.

“GPS devices are hugely popular in Australia but until now we haven’t seen a combined navigation and mobile phone solution that provides the detail and quality of stand alone GPS units,” says Austin Bryan, Marketing Director for Optus Consumer.

Available from June 7, the A10 handset will be offered $0 upfront on an Optus ‘yes’ Social $29 plan over 24 months.
