The new Hisense 100-inch laser TV is both big and small. Big in that it can project a 100-inch (2.54m) diagonal image from about 60cm away from its screen and small in that the projector comfortably sits on an entertainment unit or shelf about 60cm wide.

First, and most important this is 5th generation laser TV
Don’t compare it to those sold overseas. This has Wide Colour Gamut, 10-bit colour (over 1 billion), 95% DCI-P3, longer laser light life and higher brightness.

Who buys the Hisense 100-inch laser TV?
It’s a media room purchase where you want the biggest bang for buck. I was impressed at the clarity, colour, saturation and hue in daylight and particularly the great off-angle viewing (unlike most TVs).
As it will be years before 8K content becomes standard, this 4K device will have a long, productive life. The main benefit of this is the short throw making it easy to set up a media room. The updates in this 5th generation model address any concerns you may have had with
