When it comes to bargains, Aldi is the gift that keeps on giving. The popular supermarket chain recently announced its upcoming Special Buys range, famous for featuring all manner of products for cheap prices. This time around, it’s a Bauhn 75-inch TV for less than $1,000.
Tech is a big part of Aldi’s bargain offerings, including the Ecovacs Deebot Neo sale we recently highlighted. TVs have also previously been featured as part of the Special Buys range, which is great if you want to upgrade your home entertainment setup on a budget.
Of course, these sales are extremely limited in regard to timing and stock. As the old saying goes: you snooze, you lose.
Bauhn 75-inch TV Aldi Special Buys deal
Live in just over a week on Saturday 1 April, Aldi has a 4K Bauhn 75-inch TV for $899. Frankly, that’s a pretty damn good price for a display of that size. This one runs on the Tizen operating system, a platform used widely across Samsung devices. Included in the OS is access to popular streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Youtube, making it easy to stream your fave shows.
When we checked out Bauhn’s credentials in the past, we’ve been impressed by the quality. Looking at the specs listed on Aldi’s website, the 75-inch model appears to offer a decent amount of features for the affordable price:

Three HDMI ports are not bad for a sub-$1,000 TV. Although we don’t know specifics such as peak brightness (good for displaying HDR content) or the refresh rate, we wouldn’t expect 120Hz gaming capabilities at this price.
Alongside the big TV, Aldi also has a 2.1 soundbar with a built-in subwoofer for $129 available on the same day. As per usual, this sale, in addition to other Special Buys items is only available in-store. With an $899 75-inch TV, expect to encounter crowds at Aldi when the sale starts on 1 April.
