A front load washer with a `sixth sense`

Whirlpool’s latest front load washing machines use 6th Sense technology to determine the correct amount of water and energy that’s needed to create the best washing performance possible. This intuitive wash technology assesses the wash load’s weight and density, automatically adjusting the program throughout each cycle without harming fabrics, so clothes last longer.

Each new Whirlpool front load washing machine boasts a WELS four star water rating, reducing the amount of waste water entering the environment and helping conserve water. And in some states, government rebates of up to $200 are available.

All new Whirlpool front load machines feature a 7.5 kg capacity and the top of the range WFS1273AW features a broad suite of fabric washing programs including daily wash, hand wash and wool wash, designed for everything from delicates to bulky blankets.

The WFS1273A also has an anti-bacterial cycle, certified by the Institut Pasteur de Lille in France, which kills most common germs. Moreover, it has an intensive rinse option for thorough cleansing. A quick wash cycle is good for the time poor and it completes a priority load in around 30 minutes.

Other features include:

  • Start delay and rinse hold options allow precise control of when a wash load is finished and ready to dry
  • Time remaining display advises when the wash cycle will be complete
  • An electronic control panel coated to protect against humidity and external lettering made resistant to chemicals to prolong readability.
