AKG K400 Series of mini headphones

AKG announce the K400 Series of mini headphones that boast elegant styling, innovative design and outstanding sound quality. Ideally suited for use with music phones, laptops, iPods, iPhones, DVDs, CDs and MP3 players, you can now enjoy your favourite music on the go.

Their lightweight design and their unique 3D-axis folding mechanism makes the K400 Series perfect for travelling or any activity requiring freedom of movement. Other outstanding features include the use of oxygen free cable and quality finish that AKG owners have come to expect.

The K420 are extremely comfortable semi-open low distortion headphones featuring a proprietary AKG headband folding system that allows them to be folded away in an included stowable carry pouch. Capable of high volume sound with very low distortion levels, the K420 is an excellent all-round headphone.

The K430 also employs AKG’s unique 3D-axis folding mechanism. A closed-back design, that naturally attenuates ambient noise making them ideal headphones for strolling in city streets, exercising in the park, or using public transport while listening to music. They also feature an integrated volume control making adjustment of listening levels much easier, couple that to the exceptional dynamic range and you have headphones suitable for all genres of music. The K430 Silver colour scheme fits Apple MacBook Pros and iMacs.

The K450 (pictured above) is ideal for use with virtually any portable player and is also supplied with 2 lengths of the detachable single sided cable. The K450 features the 3D-Axis folding mechanism and makes the perfect travel companion, with supersoft earpads and new improved padded headband for a very comfortable fit.

The new K450 will also enable you to make and receive hands-free calls via the optional communication kit, while you’re listening to music. This is done by interrupting the music when the call comes in and is in progress. Once the call is ended the music resumes. This communication kit is expected to be available in October 2009.
