ANZAC Day digital radio channel

The ABC will create a dedicated digital radio station to broadcast ANZAC Day dawn services and marches from around the country this Sunday, 25 April. Dubbed “ABC ANZAC Day” the station will broadcast for 24 hours only and, in addition to event coverage from the resources of ABC Radio National and ABC Local Radio, the channel will present replays of the Boyer Lecture by General Peter Cosgrove, a special “Speaking Out” program hosted by Rhianna Patrick and the documentaries “Going Back to Vietnam”, “Changi Diary”, “Narelle, Nursing for an Empire” and “Gallipoli Voices”.

To listen to Sunday’s special event ANZAC Day broadcast service you’ll need a digital radio supporting the DAB+ standard, and be in a digital radio reception area, such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth. Alternatively, you can hear it streamed online at abc.net.au/digitalradio.
