Australians aim for the stars with space beer

With space tourism becoming a thing of the not too distant future, it makes sense that you’ll want to have a drink when you’re up there. Good thing that Australians are working on something.

Produced by 4 Pines Brewery and Saber Astronautics Australia, the beer will be tested in weightless environments using a modified aeroplane from Boeing to see if alcohol levels are changed, the effects on the human body, and even taste while gravity is non-existent.
There’s also the issue of what sort of container could be used to house the beer, given that a pressurised can or bottle could end up exploding in outer space.
If successful, the brew could be the world’s first beer approved for space travel.
