How do you review a Belkin Universal cable? Plug it in and
see if it works: PASS.
Sorry to be shallow but a cable is a cable. Belkin Universal cable (website here) has a USB-A 2.0 (480Mbps) at one end, and three ‘adapters’ – Lightning, Micro-USB and USB-C at the other. OK, it is the Swiss Army knife of data and power cables.
It has a handy cable management clip-thingy so you wont lose
Belkin quality is evident. Injection moulded fittings, good
solid TPE (Thermoplastic elastomers) plastic/rubber
covered 1.2m cable and even Apple has certified it as MFi.
What that means is a) Apple tests Belkin’s cable for rigorous
mechanical, stress, and electrical tests and b) the iDevice will not complain
when the cable attaches to it. You can look up Belkin MFi certified products here.
Let’s just say that
if you have the need it is a 5-out-5. Good job Belkin.
