Germany’s top-selling speaker brand, Canton, has lent its sound expertise to the world’s most popular portable digital music player with the DSS-303, an iPod docking station it claims has the best sound around.
The unit features a two-way stereo speaker system, 2 x 50 watt amplifier, three-dimensional sound, FM tuner with 20 presets, and a digital clock with an alarm and sleep timer that enables you to wake up to either your iPod, alarm buzzer or FM radio.
A line-in socket for connecting other audio sources is provided, as is a USB port for connecting flash drive-type MP3 players.
Available in black or white, the $599 DSS-303 comes with a credit card-sized remote abd claims compatibility with all iPods.
