The last day of the Consumer Electronics Show was only a few days ago from our point of view, but thanks to that whole human requirement of sleep, not to mention a fourteen hour flight, we were running a bit behind with our recap of CES.

So here it is, the last day of our four-day electronics show experience, with more speakers, headphones, and experimental tech than we could find in the first few days!

We’re a bit late, but it’s more of a relaxing day for us. So, day four for GadgetGuy… here we go.

image

I think I’m in the audio hall

image

Edifier channelling Piet Mondrian. I can’t help think the side speakers should be rectangular

image

That dancing robot is a lot smaller than I expected him to be. And he wasn’t dancing.

image

I must admit, I have a fondness for Blues styling of microphones. Retro, and yet usb.

image

More of that retro Blue design. Oh no. I found the Audio Technica stand. That’s not bad, but I do like their headphones.

image

Wooden headphones are lovely. Pricey, but lovely.

image

I think I just found a pair of massage sandals. Obviously, I’m no longer in the audio district. I’m in the shoe district. Nope, I’m in the massage district.

image

That’s called a Jongo. By pure

image

OOo… And Aston Martin

image

Oh. I see. It’s a stand for iphone cases. What every Aston owner wants.

image

Ecko’s speakers look like deodorant. I can’t be the only one who thinks this.

image

The Otter Box is the heaviest iPhone case I have ever felt. For people who drop their phones.

image

Awesome. 3D printing

image

Now I’m in the rhino zone.

image

Belkin’s WeMo baby monitor

image

I totally didn’t expect to find a robotic high speed mopping machine

image

Lego Mindstorms… It’s alive! AALLLLIIVVEEE!

image

Battling robots.

image

That’s an android powered watch. The im watch

image

Whirlpool ‘s vision of the future of fireplaces

image

New speakers from Jamo

image

Or there’s always the conventional speakers

image

It’s not alien technology, but apparently this could be used to help frequent flyers

image

Holograms! They’re real! Provided you like transparent pyramids…

image

This is much cooler. A projector that projects onto tiny water droplets and air

image

This phone runs on one AA battery.

And that’s pretty much it for CES for us. We’ll be writing up our hands-on with products and announcements over the weekend, but now we can finally sleep, because I’m telling you, during the Consumer Electronics Show, your sleeping patterns change dramatically, and not for the better.

image

Well Las Vegas, it’s been interesting, but we have to go. Work and all.

GadgetGuy will be back to its regular schedule of writing news, reviews, and guides next week, and we have a ton of stuff to write from this trip. See you next time CES!
