Cinema 3D glasses coming home?

The cheap glasses you pay a buck or two for when you see a 3D film at the local cinema soon may be used on a TV near you.

RealD – the company behind most of the 3D projectors found in theatres across the world – has this week announced that it will be licensing its patented “ZScreen” technology to 3D TV manufacturers.
The technology on offer here is very much like that currently used by 3D cinema projectors, and suggests that future 3D TV sets could work with the cheap 3D glasses we all used when watching Avatar earlier this year.
