ckbk is a new subscription service that provides online access to the world’s best cookbooks. Nigella Lawson, Yotam Ottolenghi, Fergus Henderson and hundreds of leading chefs and food writers are contributing to the selection and curation process of the recipe books used. Over 100,000 recipes are already in the database.
ckbk (website here) is not just another cookbook site. It aims to inspire you to find new recipes. It even find recipes for things you have in the fridge or pantry. What to do with that left-over tripe?
It will offer a free basic membership, likely advertisement supported, to see selected recipes.
The paid membership gives unlimited access to complete recipes and additional features. These include ‘playlists’, how-to-cook videos, shopping list generation and more. At this time the shopping list function does not integrate with Australian food retailers.
