CocktailAudio helps late media player entrants find their way

Unsure of what you need for your home audio system? You’re probably not the only one, but if you haven’t yet ripped all your CDs and moved into the digital age, there is a solution, and it comes in a box. Literally.

Developed by CocktailAudio, the X10 is a box with a CD player – yes, those things still exist – that can rip your CDs for you into multiple formats (including FLAC) and store them on the 500GB hard drive included in the package.

The X10 includes a 3.5 inch LCD to help you make your selections, but also to log on to the web using either built-in WiFi or Ethernet and play audio over the internet radio inside.

A 60 watt amplifier is included, and if you run out of space on the 500GB drive for your tunes, you can plug in USB or line-in.

The CocktailAudio X10 rings in at $599 RRP, which we think might be a little on the exy side, but if you’re curious at all about the package, you can find the units in store within the next few weeks.
