A new flavour of BlackBerry Pearl has hit the shelves, exclusive to phone retailer Crazy John’s. They’re selling the BlackBerry 8110 Pearl phone for $0 upfront cost for the phone itself, $39 per month on a 2 year plan, on the Vodafone network. That’s a minimum cost of $936. The $39 per month gets you “$150 worth of value” – the voice calls are 47 cents for each 30 second chunk, with a 35 cent flagfall, and SMS messages are 25 cents each.
