The DCRHC90 is the top shelf of the DCRHC series, and quite frankly, the one I would pick if opting for this style of camera. A 1/3? 3 megapixel CCD gives fabulous imagery in conjunction with the Carl Zeiss lens that has an additional layer of coating to prevent reflection and flare. 10x optical zoom is standard.

Additional features are the 2.7? LCD that supports widescreen and 5.1 channel recording is possible with the optional 4 channel mic. For those taking stills, a built-in flash is available and a tele macro function is also there for close up work. The supplied editing package is basic and we?d opt for Sony?s own Vegas package, but apart from that this is a great camcorder for a range of different shooting types.
