The VX2100 is another favourite of docco and filmmakers and also seen consistently out and about in camcorder clubs. The 3CCDs give excellent imagery with good access to manual control over what is being shot. Optical image stabilisation is a bonus and the colour viewfinder is one of the best on the market.
One major feature is the inbuilt microphone?s low wind sensitivity removing the need for an external mic in even moderately windy conditions. An integrated hot shoe allows connection of accessories such as a video light, flash or stereo external mic. Memory Stick is supported for capturing still images.
