Dell Streak hitting stores this Friday

The device that makes us ask if it’s a phone or a tablet is finally arriving on Australian shores.

With a screen size of 5 inches, Dell’s Streak is one of those devices that’s a little hard to classify. Bigger than any large screened phone and smaller than any tiny tablet, we’re not sure what we’re going to call it.

Aside for the 5 inch multi-touch widescreen, Dell has loaded tons of technology in the Streak. You’ll find 2GB of internal storage and 16GB microSD card, Android OS, scratch resistant Gorilla Glass, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with dual LED flash, a powerful 1GHz processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, and even the ability to use it as a 3G phone.

Yes, this tablet is also a phone. Or is the phone a tablet? We’re not sure what it is, but we’ll let you decide when it arrives in stores from October 1 at Optus stores for $0 on a $59 cap or $649 outright.
