F1 in 3D? Not until 2012

We know we keep harping on about how 3D is here and how everything you love will be broadcast in it, but some things won’t be changing yet. One of those is the high speed racing found in Formula 1.

Formula 1’s chief Bernie Ecclestone has said this week that we should expect to see the sport broadcast in high definition and 3D in 2012.
