HP ready to expand their notebook computer range before Xmas

HP have read the notebook computer tea leaves, and divined that Australians need more choice in the “thin and light” section of the market.

At a press event in Singapore today HP showed off the HP ProBook 5310m, HP Pavilion dm1, HP Pavilion dm3, HP Mini 311, HP Mini by Studio Tord Boontje and the HP Envy notebooks. There’s no detail on pricing or specs, nor indeed which of these newly-announced models will actually go on sale here – all this is expected in mid-October.
