JVC’s new in-car line-up to feature DAB+ and USB

The digital radio revolution is happening, and JVC is bringing out some new gear for your car to help make it happen, including its first CD receiver with DAB+ support.

It’s called the KD-DB56 (above) and while the name isn’t something that rolls off of the tongue, JVC is at least decking it out with features. We’re talking Bluetooth ready (albeit with a USB Bluetooth adapter), a charge and control plug for iPhones and iPods, USB ports, auxiliary port, digital radio support over DAB+, and of course a CD player.

JVC is also launching a whole bunch of components for your car, including new two- and four-channel amps, speakers, and even a subwoofer featuring a 1.774 kilogram strontium magnet.

JVC’s CS-V627, a 230 watt 6.5 inch speaker available now for $75.

We’ll let the press release speak for itself over on the next page, in case you’re in the mood to do a little modding to your car stereo system.
