LG at CES 2020 – the future is about AIX (AI Human Experience)

LG at CES 2020

At LG at CES 2020, President and Chief Technology Officer Dr I.P. Park unveiled its framework for the future of artificial intelligence (AI) development in a keynote speech, “Levels of AI Experience: The Future of AI and the Human Experience”. Or AIX for short.

LG at CES 2020 saw Dr Park show how the conceptual framework builds on LG’s ThinQ brand and its ambitious vision to transform the daily experience by connecting key aspects of people’s lives with intelligent touchpoints.

There are four levels of AI experience (AIX) – Efficiency, Personalisation, Reasoning and Exploration. Space precludes any further analysis, but you can view an infographic here.

The 2020 LG OLED ZX ‘Real 8K’ models exceed the strict requirements established by the Consumer Technology Association’s (CTA) official industry definition for 8K Ultra HD TVs.

The 77-88” LG OLED models also surpass the measurement criteria recommended by the International Committee for Display Metrology and are among the first to earn the new CTA 8K Ultra HD logo.

The fridge will be able to offer helpful meal suggestions based on available ingredients issue alerts for low stock. The 22” transparent front panel doubles as a display to browse the internet and watch cooking videos via Wi-Fi without a separate smartphone or tablet.

LG at CES 2020 – robot mop and more cleaning tools

While the LG A9 vacuum and A9 Ultimate PowerDrive Mop head remain largely unchanged, LG is introducing a CordZero Robotic Mop. The main difference to other robot mops is that the mop pads spin offering better cleaning, less steaking and polishing than static mop pads. It also pairs with the LG R9 robot vacuum to start work after its finished.
