LG Electronics Australia has launched its first Blu-ray home theatre system, the HB954WA.
s set to provide the most vivid audio experience available on the market – providing absolute clarity in audio and video. The powerful 1,000-watt home theatre system also boasts LG’s Full HD picture quality featured in its televisions, and high resolution sound tuned by renowned audio expert and Chief Sound Advisor for LG Electronics, Mr. Mark Levinson.
The new 5.1 channel surround sound system incorporates LG’s advanced surround sound engine, fully compatible with Dolby True HD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio Essential. Adding to its sound capabilities is bass boost, MP3 up-scaling, Night Mode, optimised modes for different TV program genres and a special equaliser setting for videogames.
The new HB954WA is also BD Live capable enabling users to connect to the internet and download movie trailers, subtitles and other data as well as enjoy related movie quizzes and multi-player interactive games.
Supporting a variety of formats from Blu-ray DVDs to CDs, the HB954WA enables customers to enjoy outstanding performance in both sound and picture. Easy installation thanks to LG’s HDMI 2 Input (HDMI In/Out Port) is another new feature of the HB954WA. It supports HDMI version 1.3, allowing the system to deliver Full HD 1080p images with deep and vivid colour.
Dock & Play allows an iPod to be directly connected to the LG HB954WA, providing an unparalleled listening experience for your portable music collection. The system’s powerful speakers and subwoofer fill the room with music and you can quickly browse through the iPod music library using the home theater system’s remote control.
The LG HB954WA also adds new life to old DVDs, transforming standard-definition DVDs to Full HD 1080p resolution via HDMI up-scaling.
