LG sends another Prada phone down the runway

The new Prada phone by LG, a successor to the original Prada phone, is due to be released later this month. The original Prada was the first full touchscreen phone to reach the market, with sales of the handset of over 1 million.

The second Prada mobile phone from LGThe new Prada adds a QWERTY keyboard to the mix – the silver keyboard along with the additional on-screen, call and hang-up buttons gives fresh tactility to the original minimal concept.

Other enhanced features include 3G compatibility with video calling, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, HTML browser, the 5 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens, and Wi-Fi accessibility.

Price and availability

The new PRADA phone by LG will be available with a RRP of $999 through mobile retailers Virgin Mobile and Crazy Johns. Available in stores April, 2009.
