LG’s KF390 mobile phone gets the Telstra Blue Tick – good for use in regional areas

LG Electronics have announced the release of the first mobile phone featuring both HSDPA 7.2Mbps wireless connectivity and Telstra’s Blue Tick of approval, which signifies that the LG KF390 is ideal for handheld use in regional areas, allowing for wider coverage across Australia without the need for an external antenna.

Following the success of the LG Telstra Next GTM TU500 series which resulted in an impressive 500,000 handset sales, the LG KF390 features all the benefits of the previous range including improved design, superior web browsing and data download speeds and a convenient compatible car kit which, when used with an appropriate patch lead, provides maximum coverage on Telstra’s Next G network.

Telstra Product Management, Executive Director, Mr Ross Fielding, said the KF390 gives users access to the world’s fastest 3GSM data download speeds when teamed with Telstra’s Next G network.

“That capability translates to a faster experience for customers browsing the net, downloading content and using 3G applications like WhereIs mapping,” Mr Fielding said.

Featuring a slim, black exterior, users navigate through menu options using a large, circular navigation key allowing for easy selection. Upon sliding open the sturdy handset, the hidden touch navigation buttons appear and the signature glowing icons appear completing the phone’s sophisticated look with a modern twist.
