Monopoly City on sale next month – 2009 Australian Toy of the Year

Monopoly celebrates its 75th birthday next year, and has proved that a good toy is about more than just state-of-the art technology, with Monopoly City being named the Toy Association’s 2009 Toy of the Year.

The latest version lets you develop industrial blocks, stadiums, skyscrapers and even parks, but also lets you sabotage other people’s property by building hazards such as polluting power plants to send opponents rents plummeting.

Monopoly City is recommended for players aged: 8 and up. The number of players involved in a game can be 2 to 6.
