NetComm add the ‘n’ factor to their wireless routers

NetComm, a leading Australian provider of data communications products and solutions, has released the NP740n Wireless Router – a powerful, wireless ‘n’ router.

The NP740n 11n Wireless Router with a built-in 4 port Ethernet switch, provides wireless speeds of up to 300Mbps. Utilising MIMO (Multi-In, Multi-Out) technology, network application reliability is significantly improved, delivering up to 300% wider coverage and 650% faster speeds over current wireless technologies.

“NetComm’s Real N offers end consumers a more superior networking experience with greater speeds, further distances and with less drop outs,” Craig Peacock, Engineering Manager of NetComm. “Complying with the draft 2 specifications, we have avoided the issues plaguing earlier versions of 11n equipment while at the same time RealN offers a high performance, robust and more compatible solution,” he said.
