Good news if you’ve been looking forward to Samsung’s next big thing in larger smartphones, and bad news if you just bought a Galaxy Note 2, because Samsung has a new one set to be announced in a month.
Happening right before Germany’s mid-year electronics bonanza IFA is set to start, Samsung has sent out invitations to its next event which, based on the artwork alone, promises to show off a “Note,” which will likely be the next generation of Samsung’s Galaxy Note smartphones.
In fact, last year during IFA, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 2 at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2012 event, leading us – and pretty much the rest of the internet – to believe that yes, this will be for the next Galaxy Note.
The rumours for the next Note sit around the product having a screen anywhere between 5.7 and 6 inches (up from 5.5 in the Note 2), supporting at least Full HD resolution, and having as much as 3G RAM.
We’ll know for sure in a month, though, when Samsung reveals all.
