The Nokia MCW 2019 announcements focused on handsets under the guidance of its owner’s HMD Global. Other Nokia enterprises are concerned with networks and of course 5G.

Five lenses – the Nokia 9 Pureview

Every picture taken with a Nokia 9 PureView is in HDR. Five cameras simultaneously capture the image and fuse it into one 12MP photo with outstanding dynamic range and depth of field. It can capture images in uncompressed RAW “DNG” format and edit them directly on the phone with the free mobile version of Adobe Lightroom. It uses two colour and three mono sensors for detail and depth.

GadgetGuy’s take: More the merrier

Nokia’s strategy is a phone for every niche – even if it has to create one with five cameras and a 3D TOF camera as well.

It’s aggressive pricing, full range of features and pure Android One all contribute to reinstating this iconic brand.
