Omega Appliances’ gourmet showroom tempts shoppers

Lovers of all things cooking should visit Omega Appliances’ stunning new appliance showroom at 2 Baker St Botany where shoppers can browse a staggering 200 Omega and Smeg kitchen appliances, from Smeg’s SS302X multifunction steam oven to the SA311XP pyrolytic oven. With each appliance presented in stylish cabinetry, they are shown at their very best.

The new 350 square metre showroom appears to have enjoyed a substantial fit-out and comes complete with Vespas parked at the entrance, an eye-catching wall of Smeg’s FAB retro fridges (in nine colours, no less), and some of the most unusual, curvaceous and colourful rangehoods we?ve seen (but more on that another time). The showroom is a must-see.

Stroll through to the main showroom space and you will find a wealth of elegant steam and pyrolytic ovens, convection microwaves, plumbed in coffee machines, and side by side refrigeration. Spin around and see rangehoods, dishwashers and even the kitchen sink – co-ordinated among Stone Italia bench tops and other gorgeous materials that complete the space’s gourmet kitchen look and feel.

Shoppers can visit the showroom between 9 am and 5 pm on weekdays or between 10 am and 3 pm on Saturdays. There’s a resident chef on site, baking tasty treats in the showroom’s fully working kitchen, too.

You can’t buy appliances on-site, however, consultants are always on hand to direct interested shoppers to their nearest Omega or Smeg stockists.
