Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX65 digital camera

Panasonic has introduced the new slim-profile Lumix DMC-FX65 digital camera, replacing the popular DMC-FX38, offering discerning photographers an ideal pocketable camera to complement their camera kit. The 12.1 megapixel model features a newly developed lens design to offer users a highly versatile, very bright f2.8 25mm ultra-wide angle Leica DC lens with 5x optical zoom, in a remarkably slim, compact body.

This new FX-Series model incorporates Panasonic’s Lumix Intelligent Auto mode (iA) which now includes POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabiliser) – boasting around twice the hand-shake correction capability of MEGA O.I.S – so users can enjoy crisp, blur-free photography, even in low light or at full zoom. The Face Recognition feature has also been enhanced for greater detection accuracy.

Panasonic has developed an industry-leading, ultra high-speed Auto Focus system with a dramatically reduced start-up time. The result provides high speed, yet accurate AF performance so users will never miss a shooting opportunity. Panasonic has also improved the processing speed to achieve an ultra high-speed start-up of 1.1 second.

The 2.7-inch large Intelligent LCD offers clear viewing and framing of images, for comfortable capture and playback even in bright conditions.
