Panasonic SV-AV100 D-Snap

The SV-AV100 D-Snap uses flash memory to store images and audio. Importantly this camcorder has a true 10x optical zoom – many only use the digital equivalent which is never that good. Images are captured at 720 x 576 making them designed for PC viewing or television playback of stills. The 2.5″ LCD viewfinder / screen can rotate through 180 degrees for recording at different angles.

Considering the SV-AV100 shoots at 6MB per second at its highest quality rating, a decent sized SD memory card is suggested. Connection to a PC is via USB 2.0 and a cradle which also acts as a charging station.
