Panasonic to show 3D consumer video camera as early as next week

Last week, Sony showed off a new concept with an interchangeable lens video camera for consumers. Next week, Panasonic might one-up them with a 3D camcorder.
Set to be shown next week in Japan, Panasonic’s new video camera will be designed to let consumers shoot in 3D.
While there are 3D solutions available for the professional videography, TV, and film markets (including the camera seen above), this would be the first real 3D handycam-style device announced.
Aiptek showed off a personal video camera similar to that of the Flip capable of shooting in 3D earlier this year.
