Panasonic’s home entertainment range – all now with digital tuners

Panasonic has completed the digital switch over across its full home entertainment range, years ahead of the 2013 switch-over deadline. Panasonic’s entire 2009 home entertainment range of VIERA Plasma and LCD TVs, Blu-ray recorders and DVD recorders all feature integrated digital tuners, so consumers can enjoy digital broadcasting now and in the future digital-only era. In fact, since July 2008, Panasonic’s home entertainment range has been digital-ready.

The Australian Government’s timetable for the digital switch over (analogue switch-off) will be phased in across Australia, region by region, between 1 January 2010 and 31 December 2013.

Matt Pearce, Product Manager TV, Panasonic Australia said: “Panasonic offers future-proof convenience to consumers today -for example, all our TVs offer integrated HD digital tuners – so they can be assured they will receive all HD and SD free-to-air channels now and when the switchover happens.”

“Both consumers and retailers can be confident in Panasonic’s product support for digital,” continued Mr Pearce.
