The 42PF7520D is a 42 inch plasma TV that features Philips’ Pixel Plus technology, which uses special signal processing algorithms to improve the sharpness and detail of the picture.
The screen also has two TV tuners built in, one digital and one analog. The digital tuner is standard definition, so you’ll still need to invest in a high-definition tuner if you want to get the best possible picture. However, the dual tuners means you can watch television using one tuner while you record the output from the other tuner using your VCR or hard disk recorder.
The 42PF7520D also includes an HDMI connector for attaching to future high definition sources.
