The long “running Pronto” series of versatile universal remotes will no longer be made, though it is likely they will be on the market for some time as the models begin to run out.
Philips has said that producing the Pronto universal remotes “no longer fits with the Philips strategy,” which we can only assume means producing really big high-grade TVs and concepts designed to make your life a little easier.
