This means that, regardless of speaker placement, users will enjoy a natural sound stage equivalent, Pioneer claims, to experiencing a live musical performance.
Pioneer reckons that the HTP-LX70 surround sound system, priced at $2,999, can deliver on both the performance and aesthetic fronts, combining high definition audio functionality with a gloss-black, ‘plasma matching’ exterior. Or, as Pioneer chooses to say in strictly non-politically correct fashion, “proving that beauty and brains can mix”.
Moving swiftly on, the integrated 400 watt digital power amplifier handles both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, also transferring full high definition (1080p) video at 24fps from an appropriate video source.
