PlayStation Network returns, collect your free games before they disappear

If you were one of the 77 million PlayStation 3 owners affected by the hack that took down Sony’s PlayStation Network, you’ll be delighted to know that your free games are now available.

As part of Sony’s “Welcome Back” pack, Australian gamers with a PlayStation Network account should be getting an email over the next few days (if they haven’t already) telling them how to get their two free titles out of a selection of five.

Sony’s gift doesn’t just consist of two free games, with some subscription time being given to Sony’s PlayStation Plus network too.

It’s worth noting that now that the “Welcome Back” program is live, account holders will have 30 days to collect their free games before Sony pulls the freebies down.

So if you’re a gamer who had a PlayStation Network account on or before April 20 of this year (2011), you’d be well advised to log on and pick your titles right now.
