LG?s model features a single tuner that allows recording to either DVD or VHS, disc copying functionality and single button recording/dubbing. The unit supports a wide variety of playback formats including super VCD, VCD, DivX, Audio CD, MP3 CD, WMA, CD-R, CD-RW and JPEG.
Dual layer (DVD-R-DL) recording supports up to four hours of DVD quality video (or up to 16 hours EP recording) on a single disk and the VCR picture-up conversion helps improve picture quality when dubbing from VHS. The unit supports progressive scan on both VHS and DVD and DV recording to either DVD or VHS.
