The Onkyo supports most of the major DVD and CD formats (except DVD-RAM) as well as multi-channel analog audio outputs since high-resolution DVD-Audio and SACD is not available via digital output. The DACs are 12bit/108MHz video and 24bit/192KHz audio, as expected for a player in this price range.
Surprisingly the unit does not support HDMI output nor resolution upscaling. For your money you get what Onkyo claims to be ?build quality? high quality components throughout to ensure an optimal video and audio signal that is as free from noise as possible.
