This unit is designed and made in Cambridge UK rather than Asia. It features HDMI output and audio quality equivalent to high-end CD players. Dedicated video circuitry such as the Zoran 5 MPEG decoding engine and six separate 12-bit/216MHz DACs ensure an impeccable picture.
Eight-channel audio is available via HDMI with a Zoran 32-bit audio DSP (digital signal processor) for excellent output. Analog output is provided by Wolfson 24 bit/192kHz DACs on each channel. Users have full control over bass output and audio delay to ensure perfect lip-sync. A special vibration minimising chassis ensures optimal data retrieval. Unfortunately there?s no SACD support.
